Theatre Kittens classes are designed for pre-school children aged 2 – 4 years with the same ethos of gaining confidence and making new friends. The main difference with Theatre Kittens compared to Theatre Cats is that because the children are younger, a parent or carer remains with the child and joins in with the class activities. This makes it a great way for parent and child to interact whilst their little one is learning in a creative environment. It’s an ideal way for you to socialise with other parents over a cuppa too. Early participation in drama and the performing arts develops imagination, creativity, confidence and communication skills.
The classes are 45 minutes long and there is also the opportunity afterwards for parents to relax over a coffee (refreshments included.) The classes involve a variety of skills, including singing songs, movement and rhythm, imagination building, playing with instruments, dressing up and story-telling through drama. We are currently looking for the ideal Theatre Kittens venue in Swadlincote. We will update this page as soon as details have been confirmed but if you want to be one of the very first to know, simply complete the Information Request Form and we’ll send you a coupon for a Free Taster Class as soon as the information is available.
